Challenge Room Poll ?[]

Just found out that Platinumgod.co.uk has a Challenge Room pool that I can't found here. Should we add it or has it already been handle  ? Chienglier des steppes (talk) 18:05, 31 March 2016 (UTC)

Yes. There're 3 new pools in itempools.xml: Challenge Room pool, Boss Rush pool, and Item Dungeon pool. Just wait for admins to add them to ItemPoolHeader. --Kator278 (talk) 00:00, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
The challenge room, boss rush, and dungeon pools aren't new, they're just unused. --Exschwasion (talk) 00:33, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
What the... I just didn't see the date... *ashame* --Kator278 (talk) 00:38, 7 January 2017 (UTC)

We Need To Go Deeper![]

Please add a short info, that the item does have no effect in the deepest floor (the floor with satan). --Undercover1989 (talk) 17:11, 2 September 2015 (UTC)

The infoboxes just serve to give players a good overlook on what an item does. In detail information is provided on the single pages for each item.

Ball of Bandages[]

Is there a reason Ball of Bandages isn't listed in the Boss item pool? Found it dropped by a horseman, but this is already implied by its page anyways.

The Boss item pool only contains items dropped by normal bosses; items that drop from specific bosses like Steven, Cube of Meat, etc. aren't in the Boss item pool. --Exschwasion (talk) 08:29, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

v1.01 update[]

Version 1.01 was released on 07.11.2014; update/recheck on the whole pool needed. EdgyVenison (talk) 14:57, 8 November 2014 (UTC)

Template Mistake[]

The sacrificial dagger isn't entered into the devil pool properly, and is just a line of red text outside of the table.

pools[]

Should trinkets be listed in the item pools, such as the key master paying out with the bent paperclip trinket. Also, some of these pools ar way off, as I have seen at least 6-12 more non listed items in some of the specialized pools, such as boss challenge rooms. 76.121.106.1 16:02, 16 November 2014 (UTC)

Trinkets aren't really contained within the pools and a specific to certain objects, just as you said. These are specified on the pages of said objects. This page really is more of a reference for other pages so they don't have to list entiere groups of items. On the topic of lists being off, there's 2 important things to notice:

  • Some rooms apparently can use multiple pools. This needs more research, so I would appreciate and data you can gather on the subject. Just don't throw it into the list but insted present it here.
  • If you manage to exhaust any item pool it will continue to roll with the Treasure rooms pool until it is finally eyhausted.

--Dooomspeaker (talk) 17:16, 16 November 2014 (UTC)

I just found a Bible in a red chest in a devil room... what? I was playing as Azazel on hard mode.

The D100 was found in a Boss Challenge room on Catacombs 2 while playing as Samson on the seed VLYX 1MC4 on the PC.

Spelling[]

just noticed simply was spelled saímply in the section about exhausting item pools. might wanna fix that. Kingskybomber14 (talk) 03:42, 9 December 2014 (UTC)

I noticed

Missing Item[]

I found the item Dead Dove in an Angel Room, and it's not listed in the Angel Room pool.

It's there. It's the third item in the passive collectibles section, between Celtic Cross and Godhead. --Exschwasion (talk) 07:50, 5 January 2015 (UTC)

i found the bible in the devil room, but its not shown in the list. whoever can edit this please do so. --Crazyceking (talk) 03:30, 27 January 2015 (EST)

The Bible isn't added into the Devil Room pool until the Rosary is picked up. --Exschwasion (talk) 00:13, 28 January 2015 (UTC)

In the Judas's Shadow's description link shoul be #Black_Judas, nor #Dark_Judas.

Scissors, Box of Spiders, Monster Manual and The Peeper in the Boss Challenge Room --94.180.92.35 05:53, 16 June 2015 (UTC)

Trinket in the Treasure Room pool[]

I noticed Cain's Eye in the passive treasure room pool. That's a trinket. I believe it was meant to include Cain's Other Eye instead.
Muhgoof (talk) 13:45, 23 July 2015 (UTC)

You are correct. Thanks for telling us. Aaand it's already fixed :P Dooomspeaker (talk) 14:12, 23 July 2015 (UTC)

CSS Error?[]

Is there some type of CSS or formatting error on this page? I'm getting a white background and grey table background, so with the light blue and white text makes it very hard to read. All the other pages seem to have the standard of brown and dark brown backgrounds.

Yeah it was a problem with the tabs extension. There's some rough edges to smooth but pages using tabs now should now be fully useable again.

Afterbirth Item Diplopia[]

This item is found in the shop pool as evidenced by this screeenshot from Tyrone's stream. http://i.imgur.com/N7H8lGo.png

We will directly use the game files to verify the Item Pool lists, that makes it easier to do them all on one big batach and won't waste people's time with them painstalkingly writing down every pool.

Dooomspeaker (talk) 16:14, 30 October 2015 (UTC)

Afterbirth shop itempool[]

Not entirely sure if that's intended or a feature of Afterbirth, but I could buy a double coin for 5 coins in the shop. Might want to look up if that's in the new item pool.

Was this during the Have a Heart challenge? It replaces all heart pickups with coins. --Exschwasion (talk) 20:39, 1 November 2015 (UTC)
Yes, sorry for mentioning it. It seems all heart pickups become double coins, though.

Afterbirth pool handling[]

Afterbirth added new items but also added (and maybe soustracted, as they'll do about Yum's heart for Greed Mode) existing items in the different pools. When those will be updated, can you try to keep the state of the pools of Rebirth ? I see two ways to do so : doubling each pool, one for Rebirth, one for Afterbirth; adding a column with a mention like "added in the pool with Afterbirth", with a switch to hide them of the table (I wonder if gamepedia stuff allows this kind of responsivness). I think you'll have to add an attritube to the item table template as well (afterbirthpool). Benspartan (talk) 03:05, 4 November 2015 (UTC)

It will probably make more sense to start a new page, "Item Pool (Afterbirth)" or the like. Otherwise I fear the tables will get too confusing. If there are only additions, then it might not be so bad to just use the {{dlc|a}} template. CrsBenjamin (talk) 06:01, 4 November 2015 (UTC)

Table Layout[]

I think the new page is looking kinda confusing, the old one with the table was better imo. MoIIy (talk) 05:20, 20 November 2015 (UTC)

Battery Bum[]

In a recent run of mine, a Battery Bum dropped The Bible for me. While I had the Rosary, this still means that he uses an actual item pool that needs its own page. --HeraldOfOpera (talk) 01:58, 7 April 2021 (UTC)

Typo in Pseudo-Set Drops sections[]

Pseudo-set is misspelled "psuedo-set" in one instance. - Pulse daemon (talk) 08:50, 13 April 2021 (UTC)

Repentance Item Weights[]

Repentance changed a lot of the item weights, this page only lists a few as being other than 1. - Smugless (talk) 22:10, 14 May 2021 (UTC)

curse of the blind[]

how does curse of the blind affect weight decrementation? if an item appears as a blind item that you don't pick up, can it still appear later in the run?

It's mentioned at the bottom of the page that blind items are still decremented. StoneyWagner (talk) 02:40, 26 March 2023 (UTC)
