Template:BossTable Big Horn is one of the bosses added in the expansion The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth †. He is an adult version of Little Horn.
Behavior
Attacks:
- Spits out a large ball that homes in on the player, attempting to deal contact damage.
- Spits out two balls that bounce against walls and deal contact damage. These do not home.
- Occasionally does both ball attacks at the same time.
- The balls can hit and damage Big Horn, destroying themselves in the process.
- Goes underground, then spawns two or three holes. Each hole will either have an empty hand, a hand holding a bomb, or nothing. Each occupied hole will perform an associated action, either in sequence or series, so a hole is only known to be empty when all attacks are finished and Big Horn's head appears.
- If a hand holds a bomb, Big Horn will throw it at the player. Possible thrown bombs include 1-3 Troll Bombs, 1 Mega Troll Bomb, or 1 Hot Bomb.
- If a hand is empty, it will follow Isaac and attempt to smack him three times.
- Extremely rare chance to spawn a low-health version of Little Horn.
Notes
- Rarely, Big Horn can throw 5-6 Troll Bombs at once (including Mega Troll Bombs).[citation needed]
- The hot bombs are not affected by Safety Scissors.
Trivia
- After attacks where Big Horn opens his mouth there's a very small window where you can kick bombs into his mouth. This is easiest to do with Dr. Fetus. If fed a bomb Big Horn will take damage, be temporarily stunned, and play a unique animation.
- During this animation, he will take 20% more damage.
