I totally thought Sister Maggy was missing on this page, but apparently that's a "familiar". Maybe it would be good to have a big "See also the Familiars, some of whom look similar to babies." at the top of the page? --126.96.36.199 22:20, 6 March 2015 (UTC)
- Sounds great to me. I made the same mistake at least once when I clicked on "Babies" on the main page content box. I was looking for Familiars as well. Also, I renamed this talk section to be a bit more descriptive. Hope that's okay. -- Muhgoof (talk) 22:30, 6 March 2015 (UTC)
Puff Baby[edit source]
Puff baby is a reference to Kirby. The puff of air that Kirby does in the games when you inflate to fly and then breathe out again, thus the baby looking like it has its cheeks puffed out.
Hebereke Babies[edit source]
Cool Ghost Baby, Gills Baby, Blue Hat Baby and Catsuit Baby are cameo appearances of characters from a fun little metroidvania-style adventure game for the NES that Edmund must have been a fan of, Hebereke (Ufouria in Europe); Sukezaemon (Shades), Jennifer (Gil), Hebe (Bop-Louie) and O-Chan (Freeon-Leon) respectively.
Edit: Props for spotting Hebereke/U4ia. Memories!
Edit: Should this page be unl.ocked? There are too many references for the mods alone to spot.

The Keeper[edit source]
Since the keeper doesn't have traditional hearts, do co-op babies work differently for him? -- DrPumpkinz
Answer: Yes, they do. Babies have one heart upon spawning. The keeper can get the lost heart with any hp up. Notable synergies are: Using a baby to keep a 3rd heart for a devil deal and having an -o- baby once you get a hp-up.
We should try to find them during Co-op and find out what do they do. I've seen Mort Baby in action, along with shooting tears, it has the Rotten Baby effect, I hope someone sees this and adds the info of Mort Baby.
Rerolled glitch looking baby[edit source]
Was looking through old Kate and NL co-op afterbirth runs, and I noticed that activating d100 rerolls babies into a glitchy looking Isaac's head that sometime turns into normal body without a head. Special Baby Menu Bug[edit source]
I found a bug where using the keyboard to make a co-op baby doesn't bring up the special baby menu unless you press the join button and a fire button together frame-perfectly. That's probably a bug. Using a controller seems to work completely fine. Can anyone confirm if this happens on PS4 and Switch? Just edit the bugs section if it's bugged on those systems too.
