Tinted Rocks[edit source]
I found a rock in a secret room in cellar 1. It was marked with an X but not discoloured and not the same shape as the usual marked rock. It dropped 2 soul hearts.
these are screenshots showing the rock, after bombing the rock and one showing I am on cellar 1. perhaps add the rock to the bombable rock section? I didn't know there was more than one type of bombable rock until right now. --Anon
- I think that's the same as a normal marked rock, it's just a different shape. It might be a bit too dark in that room for you to really notice any significant discoloration.--gargoyle (talk page) 15:35, 18 November 2014 (UTC)
To the person editing the page, you're taking my comedy out of it. The wiki isn't supposed to be "Omg im so serius for game". It's to inform people and make them smile as they read. --Cinder
- It is a wiki, a collaborative project. You as a single person shouldn't have more say over the tone of an article, as another person. Regardless, a wiki is to be informative, and should not be mistaken as a platform for you personal comedy endeavors. 184.108.40.206 13:24, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
I can not wiki but I want to contribute what I am learning. I got Leo recently and when I walked over the mushrooms occasionally they would produce poison gas that did half heart damage. I have not tried to break them with bombs but I guess this will happen as well but it was a small area effect. --Anon
- Yes. Some mushrooms can explode with poison gas if you bomb them or if you walk over them with Leo. --Zamie (talk) 01:29, 24 December 2015 (UTC)
I suggest reorganizing the "obstacles" page into 2 parts "destructible" and "indestructible." If anyone objects, please say something here. Notice the addition of a couple categories. The new layout would look like below. The general format is indestructible, destroyed by bombs, destroyed by tears OR bombs [snip; this is incorporated into the main page now] --220.127.116.11 13:29, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
Pressure plate?[edit source]
If you do some digging there is a fully functional unused object/obstacle which appears to be a pressure plate. With some modding you could get 'em into a room. Should we put this in a new "unused" tab or just pretend this doesn't exist? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCghkTFtiK4 --Piber20 (talk) 09:28, 15 December 2014 (UTC)
Yeah I noticed those already. Hopefully they'll be in Afterbirth. While I can't really warp my head around the idea that they should be included in a page about things that are actually in the game, I'd be more than happy to feature the Pressure Plate and several other cut content on their own Page -> Cut Content. Feel free to add any relevant info to the sections. Should the pressure plates ever find their way into the game well move them to the Obstacles page then. --Dooomspeaker (talk) 15:13, 15 December 2014 (UTC)
Proposal for rename[edit source]
To "objects" so it could also include pressure plates and dead shopkeepers. --Anon
Red Poop Bug?[edit source]
Isaac was fighting a red tinted Dingle which spawned 1-2 red poops after whistling in place of Dingleberries; when Isaac defeated the boss the pedestal item spawned and destroyed a red poop in it's path, which is to be expected; however, when trying to pick up the item Isaac still took damage as if the red poop was still there, Isaac was unable to retrieve the item as red poop can't be moved (Fixed, not magnetized like the pedestal itself). The red poop can be destroyed to retrieve the item without taking damage. Unfortunately couldn't get proof, can anyone recreate and gather evidence of this? --SwissxPiplup
Blue Fire[edit source]
So something weird happened in an angle room with the blue fire in the four corners and one item, i shot a monstro's lung + dr fetus + bomber boy at them while having child's heart, dont think it had anything to do with it but eh. and hen one of them droped a soul heart i went to pick it up and a ton of them exploded out. Any idea's on what happened i show a screen shot if interested. --User:Shadowcrh
Fires block spectral tears and not piercing tears[edit source]
The Fire class of Obstacles block spectral tears, but not piercing tears.
Cobweb special attributes[edit source]
I recently proposed an addition to the Cobweb section. When using a "spawn spiders" item while standing on a cobweb, I have been able to produce a significantly higher number of spiders. Unfortunately, a user has tested this with the Box of Spiders and could not get that result. I might have to check back and find the item that I used (it was re-usable in any case). I'm pretty certain that the flashing while standing on a cobweb indicated the enhanced effect of the spider spawn item. Will check back as soon as I can tell you which item it was. In any case, Isaac flashing while standing on a Cobweb has got to indicate something besides being slowed down while walking ...
