Clarity of page[edit source]
This page could be cleaned up quite a bit; there's plenty of bad grammar and unclear language, as well as statements which don't encompass all that can be contained within these rooms. For example, this page says that items to donation machines can be in vaults, however there can also be giant piles of poop and flies in these rooms too which is not something which is stated in this article. I went to edit this page, but there is no way I can correct these errors in the page. --Pi399 (talk) 05:05, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
Item Lists[edit source]
Gold Key Room[edit source]
Can anyone get any info on the gold key room in the dark room? can't get in...
You need the "Big Golden Key", for that, you need to break the angel pedestal on the angel room, and fight against him (you need 2 parts, so, you have to fight 2 times). Then you fight "Mega Satan".
Devil and Angel Rooms[edit source]
I've noticed that which room spawns feels a bit more dependent on what items are taken or which trinkets you have. I remember that a hidden 'faith' stat was discussed, but it feels like refusing to take deals with the devil gives more positive karma and spawns more angel rooms, and taking more angel room items increases it more; beyond a certain point, it almost feels impossible to spawn a devil room later in a run like that. Multiple items I've seen also say that they increase faith, sin, or evil, so it's possible that having a trinket like the Rosary Bead would yield a better chance of spawning an angel room, while having the Daemon Tail trinket or picking up items like the Match Book, Safety Pin, or Ceremonial Robes might increase the chances of devil rooms. Anybody have input?
I think you might be right. I went down the devil path, but then picked up the rosary bead, then rejected a deal, and the next floor I got an angel room.
While I was playing, I killed It Lives, and a deal with the devil showed up. Instead of a trapdoor, I had the choice of taking brother bobby or the dead cat. I took the cat and re-rolled bobby, and he turned into breakfast. I was very confused, because I know I hadn't exhausted the devil pool, there was still many items to go.
Retro treasure room farming[edit source]
I've noticed that you can farm items in retro treasure rooms if you take item, leave room without killing all enemies and re-enter the room. You can do it as long as you don't kill enemies.
Trapless Broken Bed[edit source]
I found a version of the Bedroom without any traps, but the bed itself is broken and stained and cannot be slept in. Seed 8D4H VW4C, a couple floors down. No spikes or blocks, simply unusable.
I can confirm this, the bed is unusable and looks very broken, with a pale yellow stain on the covers. It has a cracked headboard and very cracked legs.
Dice room (6)[edit source]
When your items are re-rolled, is there any correlation between old and new? For instance, I had 3 familiars, one weapon-changing item, and one passive trait and while all of them changed, I still had the same amount of each category. Anyone else have a similar experience? Lord of the Flies room proposed addition[edit source]
So I entered a double locked room and encountered this. As soon as I entered it said "You are Lord of the Flies!" or something like that. Suddenly I became what is shown in the below picture. [[File:LotF room.jpg]] I appear to have a combination of the following items (none of which I had before): Big Fan, Infamy, Distant Admiration, BBF, Halo of Flies, Rotten Baby (with blue fly), and Little Chubby. Isaac also appears to have some sort of black hood and outfit that covers his body and flapping fly wings. Other upgrades that I could see from the pause screen that my character did not already have include the Iron Bar, Spoon Bender, Ankh, Chemical Peel, Mom's Eyeshadow, and Blood of the Martyr, as well as whatever the object is at coordinates (1,2). The My Stuff menu appears to be too small to display the rest. My stats are shown in the pause screen as well. The Paper Clip trinket was obtained separately, as were all other items on the pause screen. [[File:LotF room pause.jpg]] Bombs I place have a fire animation around them and leave a fire on the ground for a few seconds after exploding. I appear to be flying. Another part to note is that I had no fly related objects except for the Rotten Baby when this happened, so this did not happen as a result of gathering the items mentioned in the Transformations page ( http://bindingofisaacrebirth.gamepedia.com/Transformations ). Also note that I had a bunch of different orbiters
The room itself looks to be unique in appearance, but bombing the center has no effect. Also note that the room appears on the map as a red square with two dots similar to the 2 side of a d6.
The seed is 3QCR JEMT on one of the later floors.
I will probably update this post after I make sure that I posted the images correctly and experiment outside of the room.
- Hey there! Firstly, welcome to the wiki! When writing messages on Talk Pages, it's important to end your post with four tidles in a row, like this: ~~~~. Doing so signs your posts and makes it easier for people to have conversations. Secondly, the room in your picture is a Dice Room. Specifically, it's a 1-pip dice room, which rerolls all of your items. It must have given you enough fly items to become the Lord of the Flies, which is pretty sweet, but essentially nothing unique, nor worthy of an individual page/section. That said, I like your investigative spirit! DoomZero (talk) 06:41, 2 December 2014 (UTC)
Bedrooms: clean vs. dirty[edit source]
The trapdoor under the rug always seems to the next level when the bedroom is unkempt and has cobwebs, and always to a retro treasure room (and/or the Black Market) when it's clean. Justintnelson (talk) 00:59, 12 December 2014 (UTC)
Rooms Category[edit source]
I noticed on the bottom of all the rooms' pages was red, and upon clicking on it, found out there was no category for rooms, even though this page and their individual pages have that as their category. Would define the category myself, but i've never don that befor and don't want to mess something up, so if someone could do that, that would be good. Category, Part II[edit source]
As this page is protected, I'd like to request that an administrator change the following:
I know the current room icons are ripped form the game, but since there are ones without icon, i thought about making some for them:
(sorry for not directly putting the image, i don't how to insert images) --22.214.171.124 21:47, 31 July 2015 (UTC)
- It is a shame that the game doesn't have icons for those rooms. I suppose it's meant to add to the mysterious nature of getting to those rooms. For the purposes of the wiki it would be nice to have icons for them. I think your icons are great. They represent the rooms very well.
- Here's where you can put them:
- Once you've named and uploaded the files have an administrator update Template:RoomNav to display the new files.

Boss Rush section[edit source]
I just noticed that the Boss Rush section says that time is indicated by the clock that appears between floors, but doesn't mention holding TAB/SELECT (even though the Boss Rush page does). Should that be changed?
Location of Super Secret Rooms[edit source]
I noticed that Super Secret Rooms are usually located as close to the Boss Room as they can possibly be, with rare exceptions when they're just in the second closest possible space. This greatly increases the chance of finding them, so consider adding this to the page.
So I found this room...[edit source]
Can anyone tell me what this is? It's playing the boss defeated music.
Full protection necessary?[edit source]
I'm wondering why this page is fully locked down for editing? I see an awkwardly worded sentence which could have two possible meanings and would like to clarify it but I cannot. Would it not be more suitable to have this page be unprotected or semi-protected? Having this page locked doesn't seem to fit any of the criteria for locking a page down on http://help.gamepedia.com/Protected_pages
I see other pages like this too throughout the wiki that could use some minor edits but I couldn't be bothered going through the hassle of getting an admin to make the change for me and it seems to be without reason for them to be permanently locked anyways. Dynamofour (talk) 22:30, 8 January 2016 (UTC)
- It seems that this page was originally protected so that people would edit the respective room pages rather than this one, but this page definitely has a lot of flaws; I've unprotected it. --Exschwasion (talk) 22:45, 8 January 2016 (UTC)
bedroom error[edit source]
Sleeping in a bed does not recharge your active item, someone please correct this error
