Tumor

Tumors are enemies that spew shots in 6 directions when in danger. They travel across the room diagonally and have the ability to float. They can fire when Isaac is close, and fire even more quickly if getting hit.

Variations

Psy Tumor

Psy Tumors are pale versions of Tumors that show up on later levels like The Depths, Necropolis and The Cathedral. They behave similarly to regular Tumors, but fire six homing shots.

Camillo Jr.

Camillo Jr. is a variation of Tumor that appears in Sheol and the Dark Room. They are colored black and have an eye in their center. They move similarly to regular Tumors, but fire Technology lasers at Isaac.

Trivia

• Camillo Jr. is a reference to Kracko Jr., a recurring enemy from the Kirby series.
• Tumors are a reference to abnormal growth of tissues of the same name, caused by genetic mutations.
