Dips are small piles of poop, commonly found in most floors. They can also be spawned by some bosses, like Dingle and Mega Fatty. They move around by small dashes in random directions.

Variants

Corn

(except in Rebirth)

Like Dips, Corns dash in random directions. Their dashes are faster and longer, but they have less health.

Brownie Corn

(except in Rebirth)

Brownie Corns are an alternate version of the Corn commonly spawned by the Turdlings, Dangle and Brownie, though they can also rarely appear normally in one particular room in the Basement. They behave exactly like normal Corns, with the addition that they also leave a trail of corny poop. However, this is purely a cosmetic effect.

Squirt

The Squirt is a bigger Dip that dashes towards Isaac and deals contact damage. It splits into two Dips when killed.

Dank Squirt

(except in Rebirth)

Dank Squirts dash towards Isaac, leaving a trail of slowing black creep. Upon death, they spawn two Clots.

Dinga

Dinga is a large Dip that behaves similarly to MemBrains. Dingas slide around the room aimlessly and occasionally hop, spawning Dips or shooting poop shots in 8 directions. Splits into two Squirts when killed.

Trivia

  • (except in Rebirth) The Corn has the lowest health of any enemy in the game, tied with the Fly.
  • Dips are likely a reference to Gels, enemies from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, as they have nearly the same movement patterns. Squirts are likely a reference to Zols, big Gels that split into two Gels upon death.
  • Dingas, along with MemBrains and Mama Guts, have the second-highest base health of all non-boss enemies, second to Oobs.
