Stony[]

Several monsters and familiars in The Binding of Isaac often have references to various aspects about fetuses, or other medical anomalies associated with fetal development, such as Monstro with cleft palate, or the Harlequin Baby for Harlequin Ichthyosis. However whether intentional or not, Stoneys can also fall under this category, representing what is called a Lithopedion, or a "Stone Baby". This occurs when a fetus develops outside of the uterus, and then dies later in development and is too large to be reabsorbed by the body. The body will then calcify the fetus to prevent infection from exposure to dead material. It has not been confirmed whether they were simply stone enemies (as are common enough in video games), or if this was a known fact by Edmund McMillen or the Binding of Isaac Rebirth team.

Cross Stony[]

It says here that cross stonies are exclusive to April Fool's Challenge. Can I get some proof of that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sirtimmothybrentwood (talkcontribs)

They do not spawn directly in any room of the game, so the only way to find out is to do some testing. With 100 Stonies, I got 13 Cross Stonies in the April's Fool challenge and 0 in normal mode. Derugon (talk) 13:31, 12 June 2018 (UTC)

It is just odd to me that this new enemy would only be added in a challenge. I checked the version history and I didn't see any notes about them being only in the challenge. And I can swear I've had them in normal runs. Maybe they just up the amount in the challenge? Sirtimmothybrentwood

Festering Guts page[]

I noticed that Gutted Fatty's Festering Guts lack a page. Since they have a spot in the Bestiary and have a unique attack pattern, should they have a page of their own?

Add Dross Bubbles[]

The Dross version of Bubbles is missing, can you add it please? Thank you! RyuD (talk) 18:08, 16 June 2021 (UTC)RyuD
